RELATION OF EXAMINATION PERFORMANCE AND CLASS ATTENDANCE OF MBBS STUDENTS IN PHARMACOLOGY - A RETROSPECTIVE STUDY

Study design: A retrospective was conducted among Second year MBBS pharmacology classroom (theory) compared marks secured internal assessment by department. Materials method: The second students who attended were included study. total 145 marks. Statistical analysis performed using ANOVA. Results: Among more number lied 61-70 percent.Only 2 them got than 90 percent attendance, this one below 50 and6 less both attendance. Discussion: This clearly demonstrated that higher percentage lesser chance failure (P value 0.002). It shows attending lectures significant perform examinations.
